This is one of my favorite restaurants in the area. I would give it five stars, but their hours are a bit disappointing. They are only open until 6 during the week and are closed on weekends. Because of this, is has become my go to lunch stop. The portions are huge and totally worth the price. For a small order it's $7 and that includes the meat, rice, and green salad or mac salad. Trust me when I say that the small is more than enough for one person. I made the mistake of ordering the large ($8) my first time and didn't come close to finishing. The food is delicious. I've tried their teriyaki and korean chicken and have enjoyed both immensely. The gentlemen on staff are friendly and quick to help. You are in and out in a jiffy, which is nice on short lunch breaks. This place is a gem and I look forward to continue stopping in on a regular basis.

I've witnessed co-workers devour styrofoam take out containers filled with teriyaki chicken and rice from here, but this was my first attempt. I tried the large order of 1/2 teriyaki, 1/2 Korean chicken with rice and macaroni. Tasty! The large size is a lot of food, but for $8 it's a value play. The menu is simple and the service is fast.

While in the region of Klamath Falls, the King fancied himself a more exotic cuisine that can only come from a place of paradise. A paradise in the distance and beyond the horizon of the seas. A place called Hawaii. When arriving at said location, the exterior establishment looked quite grim and unappealing. However, being a adventurous King that I am, I persevered and entered. When entering the King was surprised that the laborers were mere fledglings. I asked the child behind the counter to suggest to the King what was their most satisfactory dish. Then the fledgling artisan said that the Teriyaki chicken was the favorite amongst their patrons, but the true delicacy was the Korean chicken. The King took the word of the hairless faced child and ordered the Korean chicken. My feast was given to me in a technology that the King has never seen. It was called Styrofoam. I dabbed some heated sauce with a chicken drawn on it for some added flavor and intensity of heat. Like I say, no food is worth eating unless you can feel it come morning. The chicken was delightfully made and the mac that came as a side was silky and added a much coolness to the spice given from the chicken. Even with its appalling exterior and young artisans that in this day and age do not care about treating a King as they should, surprised him quite a bit. They were very accommodating and made sure that The King was treated like royalty. I am quite happy to say that no one lost their heads after my meal.

Food is amazing! Staff are rude and not friendly. No Aloha spirit there - but their food is delicious. I would also recommend taking the food to go. Tip: They are not open on Weekends

Small place. Huge portions. Delicious food. Limited options. Go there. It is good.

This tiny place serves up huge portions of sweet and salty Hawaiian-style chicken and pork. Being a little out of the way doesn't stop this joint from being completely slammed during the lunch hour everyday, so if I had one suggestion, it'd be to try to go at 1 p.m. as opposed to noon, but don't wait too long as I think the food tends to dry out a little. I love the Korean chicken with mac salad! The regular size (they may call it small, I can't recall) is definitely more than enough. The large could easily feed my wife, son and I. When the juices from the chicken hit the creamy mac salad - total flavor heaven. It's quick, it's friendly and the owner remembers damn near everyone! I'm fairly certain I've heard people ordering a mix of the different offerings (like a sample platter), but don't quote me on it. Tons of parking, but only 5 or 6 tables inside. There are more outside, but in the winter around the basin, sit there at your own discretion. This stuff is great, I'm definitely a repeat offender and I believe they do cater. Enjoy!

I have not been to Hawaii or had other Hawaiian food, but we have been underwhelmed by North Shore. There are 4 things on the menu. You get 3 chicken offerings, one pork. Choice of macaroni or green salad, and a scoop of sticky white rice. The pork was pretty slimy, the Korean Chicken was OK. The green salad is all iceberg. Portions are generous, the staff are coldly attentive, seating is limited.

Food is so amazing!!! Great every time!! The only reason I give them 2 stars is because there is no service. Multiple times I've tried calling during open hours and nobody answers.... Literally called 30 times in one day and nobody answered! Finally just went down and there was 3 people working! Need to hire people that care... Not just the local high schoolers. They also ran out of chicken and closed down?!?! Did you run out of pork, Mac, and rice too?? Needs to be open later in the day and on weekends! All the money lost for not being open...

Two elderly tourtist-hunters on their way to Highland Hills Ranch (a swank wing shooting resort in OR) from SoCal. Time for lunch. Klamath Falls. No clue where to eat, but we ALWAYS patronize the local shops, no food chains, please. Pulled out my trusty iPhone and look in Yelp for a recom. North Shore Hawaiian Plate caught my eye in Yelp. I am somewhat of an expert on Hawaiian mixed plate cuisine; I own two homes in Hawaii. Drive up using GPS. Outside looked like a dump (except I did notice picnic tables around the shop -- place has overflow of diners??). Arrived before lunch hour. Walked inside (pushing my buddy through the door; he wasn't interested due to exterior). Ordered food; Teriyaki chicken with scoops of mac & rice. It was great and very correct Hawaiian mixed plate -- even the standard foam folding plate box. Very cool, right here in central OR. Go figure. Price was right and serving was enough for TWO chicken plates. While there, two van loads of local base USAF in camo fatigues arrived to dine. More and more cars started pulling into parking. This place has a regular local following and deserves its acclaim. Mo betta grind !! Da Kine, brah !!

Enjoyed their pork (me) and chicken (my husband) plates while at the 4th of July jamboree. The long line was worth the wait - shredded nicely, no fat and BBQ was delicious. The only negative was the pork was a bit salty - but still delicious!

Great food!! We love the Teryaki chicken with white rice. You can get a small plate, $7 or a large plate for $8. The small plate is more than enough food for me and I end up saving half of it for the next day. I would give it 5 stars but the staff aren't very nice and helpful and the atmosphere inside and out are not that great.

I'm new to Klamath Falls. And new to Hawaiian food. But I do know good food, especially pork. This little "hole in the wall" puts out a great spread. The Kalua Pork was phenomenal! Huge serving size. I'll try to give their chicken a try next time, but the pork was so good I may not be able to resist. 4 stars only because of the very limited menu, which would be greatly complimented with the addition of a "sandwich".
(4)Jeff G.
Amazing food at a good price. The teriyaki chicken is delicious and goes well with the rice and macaroni salad!!
(5)Sabrina C.
Giant portions! Great flavor on the meat. Wait time is always less than 5 min. Friendly staff. It's a delicious and healthy alternative to fast food.
(5)John T.
Great food! Their chicken is fresh, their pasta salad is good
(5)Kenna L.
In our town this place is big, I'm not a great fan, the service was kinda crappy and the guy was rude, later on I didn't feel so well. I'm not saying it was from the food but it is a possibility. The rice was mush and the salad wasn't great.
(2)Tyler M.
I ordered the Teriyaki chicken and the Macaroni salad! The portions were giant, tasty and the sauces excellent. I will definitely be going back. And again!
(5)Charity T.
I love this place! The teriyaki chicken is amazing and I love the Mac salad! Good food for a decent price!
(5)Jordan N.
The rice is much better! Now if the outside tables would get cleaned off every now and then it would be awesome!
(4)Faye F.
Tasty, big portions! My friends and I tried this place (my friend raved about it having been living in Klamath Falls for some time) around late afternoon and the downside to their tasty food... them running out of food! The teriyaki and the korean chickens were really good. I think I enjoyed the Korean more. Must try this place again for the shoyu and the kalua. The portions are really big that 2 people can share one large (for $8 as opposed to a small $7) order and it includes mac salad or greens, preferably get the mac salad. Try this place if you're in the area!
(4)Jennifer J.
The food is delicious but the restaurant is small and pretty dirty so I always get my food to go.
(4)Sean L.
Wow. Just awesome. I was doing cell phone testing and came from california. I enjoy trying local restaurants and I was so glad I stopped in. The restaurant is small, and the kitchen looks like it belongs on a fishing boat, but the food is amazing. The portions are huge! I am 5'11 220 and was stuffed. The pork was juicy and did not even need any sauce. Great job guys!

I have no idea how the economics of this place work, but somehow they manage to provide extraordinary amounts of delicious food for a very reasonable price. A $9 plate will get you enough to feed two full grown men and still have some left over. However it works, the quality has been consistent for the 6+ years that I have been coming here. The decor is humble, but the restaurant is clean. The staff are genuine and kind. You will likely either be served by the family that owns the place, or one of their OIT student employees. The menu is pretty small so it should not take long to decide. As soon as you order they dish it up, and you are eating within a few minutes. Even though they make the food in advance, they have consistent enough traffic that it's always fresh. After you get your food, go to town with some of their teriyaki sauce and enjoy. It doesn't get much better than this in K-Falls.

Nom, nom, nom! Crazy good! I live in Florida and crave this food so much, it is the first place I eat when I visit K. Falls! The macaroni is insane! The Korean chicken is freaking fantastic. I don't care what anyone else says- this place does not disappoint!
(5)Patrick S.
Kolua, and teriyaki is where it's at! I think personally the best chicken/ pork rest in town!
(5)Isidro M.
It's a little out of the way from the freeway, but well worth it if you want some Hawaiian. Limited choices, the large portions at low prices make it worth it.

Meen place to get hawaiian style plate lunch in kalamath falls. We got kalua pig and teriyaki chicken plate lunch with mac salad and green salad. The large is huge! When we were finished it looked like we barely touched it. Kalua pig was kind of salty, but that means it is good. Another cool thing is they had hawaiian sun juice cans!
(5)Andy H.
Fantastic food! The space could be a little better outside, but everyone working is friendly and welcoming thank you for being one of the best places in Klamath keep it up!!!!
(5)Ryan A.
This was the second place we tried for dinner while visiting Klamath Falls. The first one was just not as welcoming as we may have hoped for. We went to North Shore, which was the second place on our list to try. We felt much better here and we were pleasantly surprised by the food. The one thing I wouldn't do wrong again is order a large. The large is truly large. It was way too much food, even considering how hungry I was. Like I said, though, the food was good. I have to admit I've had better, but usually Hawaiian places are worse and disappointing. This place seems popular, and it seems to be for good reason. If you want solid Hawaiian food, you may be surprised to know that you can find it in Klamath Falls.
(4)Kathy N.
Excellent Hawaiian food. Served simply ready to eat on or take out. We had the Korean Chicken! Yum! Lots of flavor. Served hot & fast. Mac salad Hawaiian style is spot on. Unless you want to take some home, order the small size.
(5)Wendy L.
Did not know what to expect when we drove up. My family and I were pleasantly surprised. The food was wonderful and the price was great. We would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Off the beaten path if you are passing thru Kfalls on the 97 corridor, but if you want something different than truck stop fare, fast food or mini mart grub---then go with the Yelp reviews and give this place a whirl. Disclaimer: we like Hawaiian plate lunch. If white rice, Mac salad and teriyaki chicken aren't your cup of tea, stop reading here. That being said, the reviews are spot on for this place. Hole in the wall shack. Tiny. Simple menu....one of the simplest I've seen in a long time. Four items: 1) Teri chicken 2) Korean chicken 3) Shoyu Chicken 4) Kalua pork All with a scoop of white rice and your choice of Mac salad or "greens". Walking into this place felt like we we'd just come up from the beach and were hungry for some local grinds, brah! The portions are generous. I'm a big guy and the small Korean chicken plate filled me up. Food was good. Not the best I've had for Hawaiian plate lunch, but definitely A-OK. The place was busy & the service quick. Didn't see a restroom....didn't ask either. Not sure on the "health standards" but trusting they pass & like I said, felt like we were literally at a roadside shack on the North Shore. That being said, if you like Hawaiian grinds, don't have high expectations about perceived cleanliness and want something besides the norm for filling your empty stomach....this place is a hit. We'll be back.

Always tasty. Love the meats. Love the sides, especially the macaroni salad. The portions are very generous and a single order can stretch across two or three meals. Excellent value. I don't know if they have desserts, but they have exotic Hawaiian sodas. And I like the assortment of sauces for you to try.
(5)Zack S.
The food here is so good! I'd punch my mother in the face right now for some! Only advice I could give, ask for your Mac salad in a separate container!
(5)Bradley K.
Stopped here for lunch the other day. To my surprise, there were only 4 items on the menu. We had the barbecue chicken and korean chicken. The food was ready in no more than a couple of minutes. Both meals were quite good, and the servings were plentiful. I would recommend this place for a plate lunch with rice and mac salad...just be hungry because they give you a lot of food!
(4)Jeannie W.
I love this place wish they had better hours. I hate that they are closed on the weekends!!!
